What to do when a capture isn't clean

- GlareMove away from direct light or tilt the page slightly.
- Cropped edgesKeep all four corners of the page inside the frame.
- Low lightingCapture in even, indirect light — avoid shadows across text.
- Missing pagesUse multi-page capture so every page stays in one document.
- Wrong orientationRotate the page upright; we can also rotate it during review.
What happens next
- Every file is virus-scanned and encrypted before it is read.
- Text and handwriting are recognised, then turned into structured fields.
- Anything uncertain is sent to the review queue instead of being guessed.
